MCEP II concluded

On the second day of MCEP II, the following lectures were delivered:
Management of sanitation in hospitality industries by Dr A Amadi;
Hazardous Wastes management and control by Aliyu Zakariya’u
Modular simulated situations and solutions in environmental health practiceby DR Ife Adewumi; and
Pest/Vector control and management by Somoye M ayotunde.

Today, the training was closed, but the following lecture were delivered:
Legal interventions in environmental health control and court processes by Bar R Adeyemi;
Institutional waste management by Mr araoye Segilola;
Environmental health entrepreneurial skills development by Dr Obasi O. Kalu; and
Dress code and uniform ethics by Colonel Ekpo.
The programme was quite interesting as new technologies were learned.
Certificate was given to those attended

MCEP II kick off in Ibadan

Mandatory Continuing Education Programme module 2 batch 7, orgnized by Environmental health officers registration council of nigeria [EHORECON] kick off today in Ibadan, Oyo state.
It is a training for the practitioners to update their knowledge of the current trends on environmental health practice, and how they can apply it in their work place for the better.

After opening ceremony, three lectures were presented as follows:
Environmental epidemiology and biostatistics by Dr John Oladejo
Environmental health services in emergency situations by AJ moses
Business and industrial premises inspection and sanitation management by Mr S Ojewale

the progrmamme will last to 9th june, 2011
